Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a student assistant to contribute to the follow-up of Malmö city's land allocation policy adopted by the municipal council in 2021.
The follow-up will be used as a basis for the upcoming revision of the land allocation policy.
The policy contains provisions for how the city should act in connection with land allocations for lease and transfer of land for development. It is important for the city to follow up on compliance with the current policy ahead of the upcoming land allocation policy.
The follow-up is conducted through the review and mapping of agreements, focusing on leasehold allocations and sampling compliance with agreements. It also includes contacts with other employees both within Malmö city and possibly outside the organization. The mapping is done in Excel and then transferred to QGIS. The results are compiled and presented in a slideshow.
As a student assistant in Malmö city, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in practice alongside your studies with assignments within our operations. We offer you relevant and qualified work experience, valuable contacts, and a salary. The working hours can correspond to approximately 10-15 hours per week.
Qualifications
The student assistant program is aimed at those who have completed at least 60 higher education credits and are still studying throughout the assignment period.
You are studying urban planning, urban development, and community planning. You should have completed at least 15 credits in GIS and be proficient in QGIS or similar software.
As a person, you are independent, meticulous, and strategic.

Information about the Position
Employment type: Temporary
Scope: Hourly paid. The assignment covers approximately 120 hours during weeks 8-12.
Working hours: As a student assistant, you will work about 10-15 hours per week during the day. The working hours are largely flexible. You will agree with your supervisor on working hours that can be combined with your studies.
